There is an "open window" period of about 30 min after exercise that the body is at its peak to absorb protein and carbohydrate for optimal recovery of the glycogen stores. There for it is recommended that PeptoPro® added to a carbohydrate sports drink or PeptoSport® be taken within this time.

After high intensity, endurance exercise muscle glycogen needs to be restored. PeptoPro® accelerates uptake of glucose in the muscle cells and improves muscle glycogen re-synthesis. Muscle glycogen will recover in about 16 hours if a protein hydrolysate and carbohydrate is taken in a combination. If carbohydrate is taken on its own it takes about
23 hours for glycogen to be restored.

Results from clinical studies showed that 40 - 50% of the participants using rosehip powder (i-flex) reduced the consumption of pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs when taking rosehip powder for joint pain.
