Well known long distance endurance athlete JOHAN VAN TONDER, breaks the World Record after 2 previous attempts, benefiting two charities in Vanderbijlpark. The record was previously held by German Robert Wimmer who ran 145,5km in 12 hours on a treadmill on 7 March 2009.
Johan has run nine Comrades Marathons, one hundred standard marathons, two 120 km road races and six 100 km road races, finishing second in the 2010 Nedbank 100 km race and winning the 2010 'Light to Night" 12 hour race.
"What AWESOME products! PeptoPro and PeptoSport really assisted in the record breaking attempt! After breaking the World record for running on a treadmill for 12 hours, I felt much better than previous times. I worked the next day and had enough energy, my muscles were less stiff and less sore than previously! This is a GREAT all-in-one product that I use before my events, during and afterwards for recovery! I work with sport nutrition products every day and have lots of experience with them but I truly believe in PeptoPro and PeptoSport and recommend it to other athletes because I know it works!!"
So what is next? Johan wants to qualify for the World Duathlon Champs in 2011, wants to run the Comrades Marathon in under 7 hours, and wants to finish the Ironman in the top 20 . |
